The place is nice and beautiful view. Regarding my experience, I wanted to visit this restaurant a long time ago, but after ten minutes of waiting, nobody was even able to carry the menu, totally ignored, no one greeted or said anything after leaving. All attention was focused on serving foreign tourists. Of course I'm not coming back, there are so many other places out there close by. In fact, on the way back we went and were attended to immediately.

My wife and I were taken to this beautiful, quaint restaurant in November 2014. We had eaten lunch in Viña del Mar and our escort suggested La Colombina in Valparaiso for dessert and coffee. The view was extraordinary. Although we did not have a meal, we did have dessert - which was excellent. It is difficult to find, riding up ancient sloping elevators, and we lost track of how to get there. We just found it on Google maps and will be going again very soon.Edited 1 year later:We returned for a full meal. The prices were high and they were inflexible in their menu. They served something raw to my wife (she misunderstood the Spanish menu) and refused to cook it. They still required payment in full. We ended up taking it home and cooked it there. I will never go there again!
